The first stage of pre-processing. (Sand filtration)
The main purpose of using a multi-media quartz sand filter is to remove harmful health substances in water containing sediment, manganese, rust, colloidal substances, mechanical impurities, suspended solids, and other particles above 20UM. The effluent turbidity is less than 0.5NTU, CODMN is less than 1.5mg/L, iron content is less than 0.05mg/L, SDI is less than or equal to 5. Water filter is a "physical-chemical" process that separates and filters impurities and colloidal suspensions in water through particulate matter. Secondary pretreatment (carbon filter)
Activated carbon filters are used to remove pigments, odors, large amounts of chemical and biological organisms from water, reducing the residual value of water and pesticide pollution and other harmful pollutants. The difference in structure between activated carbon filters and quartz sand filters lies in the strong adsorption capacity of activated carbon. When using quartz sand filters to remove organic matter, there is no need to filter it out, and residual chlorine in water is adsorbed. The water to chlorine ratio is less than 0.1ML/M3, and the SDI is less than or equal to 4, which is a strong oxidant chlorine. There are various types of membrane damage, especially reverse osmosis membranes that are more sensitive to chlorine. In addition, during the activation process, non crystalline parts containing oxygen-containing functional groups are formed on the surface of activated carbon. These functional groups can effectively remove some metal ions from water and restore the performance of chemisorbed activated carbon catalytic oxidation.
Third stage pretreatment (resin softener)
Cationic resin used for water softening, mainly used to remove the hardness of water. The hardness of water is mainly composed of calcium (Ca2+) and magnesium (Mg2+) ions. When the hardness ions of raw water pass through the resin layer, Ca2+and Mg2+in the water are adsorbed by the exchange resin, and the released mass of Na+ions from the softening agent in the water is removed from the softened water hardness ions. Thus effectively preventing fouling of the reverse osmosis membrane. The system can automatically recoil, so it is red.
Fourth stage preprocessing (micro filter)
The particle size in water can remove small particles, and sand filters can remove very small colloidal particles in water, making the turbidity reach 1 degree. However, there are still hundreds of thousands of colloidal particles with a particle size of 1-5 microns per milliliter of water. Applying pressure to this filter to remove small particles with a particle size of 100 microns or smaller in water further reduces turbidity, meets the requirements of the next process for water, and protects the next long-term operation process.
RO system
Adopting reverse osmosis technology for desalination, the pore size of the reverse osmosis membrane is only 0.001 microns, which can remove soluble solids, bacteria, viruses, etc. The desalination rate is over 99.6%, which meets the national standard for producing purified water. The main unit includes a safety filter, a high-pressure pump, and a reverse osmosis membrane. The safety filter is a four stage or above pretreatment system, and the high-pressure pump is one of the main equipment of the reverse osmosis membrane element, providing sufficient pressure to overcome the penetration resistance of pressure and operate to meet the needs of the device to reach the rated water.
